Terms and conditions

  1. This Promotion is open to legal residents of United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland aged 18 or over, excluding employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, agents or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.
  2. Promotion Period: Enter between 00.01 BST on 1st May 2016 and 23.59 GMT on 31st October 2016.
    1. Within the Promotional Period there will be Weekly Draws for the Weekly Prize. Each Promotion Period Week will start at 00:01 on the Monday and end at 23:59 the following Sunday (the exception being the last week of the Promotion where the Promotion Period Week will be 8 days ending on Monday 31st October at 23:59.)
    2. There will be one final draw, from all entries received during the entire Promotion Period, for the chance to win the Grand Prize.
  3. Purchase is necessary and access to a personal email account is required.
  4. To Enter: Purchase any promotional pack of Frubes and visit angrybirds.frubes.co.uk, enter the unique code found on the inside of the Frubes carton plus your contact details and you will be entered in that week’s prize draw as well as the Grand Prize Draw.
  5. ROI Residents Only: For legal reasons relating to Irish law, once you have entered your unique code at angrybirds.frubes.co.uk you will have to answer a question correctly in order to be entered into that weeks’ prize draw as well as the Grand Prize draw.
  6. Each unique code can only be entered once. Multiple entries are permitted, providing each entry is accompanied by a different unique code, however a person can win a maximum of one weekly prize during the Promotion.

    2. Grand Prize: One winner will win 1x six night holiday for four people to the Bahamas with travel included and spending money. See clause 9 for further details.
  8. Any weekly prizes that are un-awarded or unclaimed will be added to one final wrap up draw to take place on 14th November 2016 from all those who have validly entered any of the weekly draws during the promotional period
  9. Further Grand Prize Details:
    1. The Prize is a six nights holiday for four people (two adults and two children (under 16 years old) to the Bahamas staying in a 2 bed cottage with breakfast daily;
    2. The Prize includes £250 spending money which will be sent to the winner by BACS;
    3. The Prize also includes 1x half day boat trip to Pig Island and includes:
      1. 1x visit to Pig Beach.
      2. Opportunity to swim with the pigs.
      3. Return transfers from the hotel.
      4. Snorkelling with snorkelling gear provided.
      5. Water & soft drinks.
    4. Airline seats are subject to availability;
    5. Flights will depart from the winner’s nearest available international airport only to the Bahamas;
    6. Reserved seats and flight extras are not included in the prize (flight extras include, but are not limited to, on-board meals and drinks);
    7. Flight tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once tickets have been issued, they are only valid for flights, dates and times shown. Name changes to the flight seats once confirmed are not permitted;
    8. The winner and their guests must abide by and are subject to the Airline’s published Conditions of Carriage;
    9. It is the winner’s responsibility to supply a child's car seat where necessary;
    10. Return transfers from the airport in the Bahamas to the hotel is included but return transfers from the winner’s home to the nearest available international airport is not included;
    11. A valid credit or debit card will be required to check in to your room and will be used to guarantee any incidentals such as in-room calls or services;
    12. Activity and accommodation vouchers may not be sent to the winner until 7 days prior to departure;
    13. Specified accommodation, restaurants & tours are subject to availability at the time of booking. Alternatives may be offered dependant on availability;
    14. If a flight or hotel booking is cancelled by the winner, no alternatives will be offered and for the avoidance of doubt, no compensation and/or refund will be provided;
    15. Guests below the age of 16 must provide written parental consent to travel unless accompanied by a parent or guardian;
    16. The winner and their guests must travel together in both directions;
    17. All elements of the prize package must be taken as part of the same trip. Individual supplier terms & conditions apply;
    18. The winner and their guests will require a passport valid for at least 6 months on date of travel. any necessary visas or vaccinations are the responsibility of the winner and their guests;
    19. Travel insurance will be supplied for the winner and their guests before departure with no pre-existing medical conditions. Travel insurance is subject to restrictions and the terms and conditions of the insurance provider. It is the responsibility of the winner and their guests to meet any additional costs relating to obtaining insurance cover for any pre-existing medical conditions and/or for any additional costs as may be specified where the winner and/or their guest are aged 75 or over;
    20. The Prize does not include meals, drinks, excess baggage, car parking charges, additional excursions and attractions, additional nights and services or any other costs of a personal nature not stated, all of which will be the sole responsibility of the winner and their guests;
    21. The winner must provide 90 days’ notice before any preferred departure dates and will be required to submit 3 preferred departure dates at least 1 calendar month apart;
    22. The prize must be taken by the final claim date of 31st October 2017 and is subject to availability) but excludes Christmas and New Year (20th December 2016 – 1st January 2017), Valentine’s Day, award ceremonies or public holidays in the country of departure or the destination and Bank Holiday periods;
    23. There will be £250 towards departure taxes, service taxes, hotel taxes
    24. The winner will be required to sign & complete a winner information & prize acceptance form & to submit copies of their passports in order to book their prize trip; and
    25. Winners are responsible for the behaviour of themselves and their guests whilst taking the Prize. The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to exclude the winner and/or guest from participation in the Prize if any party fails to comply with the directions of the Promoter or any companies associated with the Prize or the winner and/or guests act in a manner that is dangerous to themselves or to the public or is anti-social in any manner or which causes a disturbance or nuisance to others.
  10. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and there is no cash alternative.
  11. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.
  12. Please allow up to 28 days for delivery of the weekly prizes and up to 30 days to be contacted in order to organise and confirm details of the Grand Prize from the date of winner acceptance.
  13. Winner Selection:
    1. Weekly Prize Draw: All valid entries received by the Promoter during the Promotion Period will be entered into the next available draw and, for your total confidence will be conducted within 3 working days of each week’s closing date by an independent third party.
    2. Grand Prize Draw: All valid entries received by the Promoter during the entire Promotion Period will also be entered into the Grand Prize. For your total confidence, the draw will be conducted within 3 working days of each week’s closing date by an independent third party. The number of unique codes submitted by each entrant will be the number of entries that will be entered into the Grand Prize Draw for each entrant.
  14. In the event that there are no entries during a particular Promotion Period Week once the Promotion has started, the prize for that week will be included in a mop up draw on 14th November 2016.
  15. Winner Notification: Winners will be contacted via the email address provided upon entry within 5 working days of each draw and will be required to respond to confirm eligibility plus acceptance of the prize within 14 days of initial contact. In the event a winner does not respond to communications within the 14 days of initial contact, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and allocate that prize to an alternate winner selected in the same manner.
  16. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. The Promoter may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and a prize may be withheld unless and until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.
  17. All entries must be made by the entrant themselves. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries, entries by macros or other automated means (including systems which can be programmed to enter), and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that an entrant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that entrant’s entries into the Promotion in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the Promotion, that entrant’s entries will be disqualified and any prize awarded will be void. 
  18. No responsibility is accepted for entries or claims lost or delayed or as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

  20. The Promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss or injury suffered by any entrant entering the Promotion or as a result of accepting any prize. Nothing shall exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence or generally for intent as well as for gross negligence.
  21. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any written directions given under applicable law) to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.
  22. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.
  23. Winners may be requested to participate in reasonable publicity arising from the Promotion including the publication of their name and county for the winners’ list.
  24. The name and county of the Grand Prize winner will be available by sending a self - addressed envelope to Frubes Angry Birds On Pack Promotion 2016, PO Box 485, Wilstead, Bedford, MK45 3XN after 1st December 2016 for a period of 3 months.
  25. By entering this Promotion, all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.
  26. The Promoter’s decision is binding in all matters relating to this Promotion.
  27. This Promotion is governed by English Law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
